I have a rebuild trans shop where I live at. We amaco transmission but I heard too bad things about them plus there too high.

The deal with my 4L60-E is it shifts hard at times but doesnt do it everyday. It only shifts hard like 1 once day. I got 115K on it.

I had a 93 S10 w/4L60e that shifted hard between L1/L2 and my trans guy said it was a shift servo or something like that, electronic doodad in the trans on the valve body I think that's what it is.

More then likely you have a P1870 Code also. Not a hard fix
1870 is a trans pomponent slip code, when the VCM detects the code it sends the signal for MAXIUM LINE PRESSURE which corresponds to a harsh shift because of the pressure it slams thru the shifts.
