This is the starter for my LS3 off of a 2010 Camaro SS. There's 2 ring terminals and one connector. Anyone know if I'll need to hook up the connector or do I just use the two ring terminals for my battery and signal wire?

Thanks!

Be sure to ground the engine block with a main cable to battery

I hope it's legible. Red is for the main cable to battery... at least 1 of the main positive cables.

Purple is the "signal" wire you mention... in this case the switch wire.

This is all you connect to the starter itself.

Thanks a million man!! The only thing I can't make out is what connects to the OEM connector on top? Can't quite read it.

Thanks again.

Oh...lol sorry. The big red circle... is to positive cable on battery. Always Hot. I edited my last post to hopefully understand better.

Oh, & I'm a girl

OEM connector? You mean the purple circle? That's the "signal" wire. To the ignition switch. Usually they're a purple wire on GMs

Oh jeez, yep I see what you did there. I was overthinking things.

Perfect, that clears it all up. Thanks so much! Finally going for a start tonight.
