I got a 1991 s10 that I'm gonna swap a 350 into. I had a couple questions on some random parts in the the engine bay, and some part in the cab that plugged under the dash. There is a part that has a cable hooked up to it i don't know what it goes to but I assume it probably hooked up to the tbi unit, and the flat box next to the brake master not sure what that is either.

I'm no S-10 Expert, but I'm fairly certain that black box next to the Master Cyl is the ABS Brake Controller.

That plug under the dash should be the OBD-1 diagnostic port I would think. Hot rod is correct about the abs module on the master cylinder. Not sure about that black box on the black box on the floor board.

exactly as above the black box on the side of the MC is for the RWAL or rear wheel antilock brakes. The plug looks to me like the ALDL for the obd 1 system. The black box in the floor I'm not sure.

I had a 91 s10 and did the same v8 swap got rid of all that crap. You also have the big cruise control transducer on that fender.

I think the other black box is the cruise control module.
