1980 C10 Richmond 5 speed

My first post was about a truck I bought accidentally, which means bidding on something when you have a covid fever like a dummy lol...

Anyway, I am into this thing and would really like it to be manual.

There is a GM Richmond 5 speed for sale locally. GM trans other than Muncie and ST10's don't come up often in these parts, ALL TKO's are Fords that i see.

Anyway, anyone use one of these in a Square body? I assume the tunnel should be big enough with some of the trans that these trucks have had over the years?

Truck has a 400 SBC that I am putting on enforcer AFR heads, roller retro cam and a few other fun things.

Has a 4 link with ford 9"

One of the old ones with 1:1 fifth gear? From what I remember (vaguely) they were meant to replace a Muncie without much trouble.
