1978 k10 Suspension lift help

So i bought a 1978 k10 with 3/4 ton axles and i went to purchase the 6" lift for it but dont know if i have to buy the 3/4 ton lift kit or the 1/2 ton lift i do not think it should mtter but i need to be for sure before i buy

Your are all good to go , same. I have had good luck with skyjacker soft ride , never have had tuff country but lots of guys like them as well , cheap lift kits = crappy ride like rough country.

I put 3/4 ton axles on my 1/2 ton. Make sure you get rear u-bolts for the 3/4 ton. The 14 bolt axle is a larger diameter than the 10 or 12 bolt.

The only thing that should be different between 1/2 and 3/4 on a lift kit is rear springs. 1/2 will definitely/should have 52" along the length of the spring. A 3/4 could have 56" with the same measurement.

I am fairly certain that is the only difference
