    There are inserts in the roof, but if yours are missing you can get a coarse screw/bolt that will tread into the sheet metal. A couple of mine are like that, just dont tighten them too tight, and I put a dab of silicone on the threads.

    I have 3.42 gears and 33's and while it definitely wouldn't tow anything in 4th I leave it in OD all the time anything over 45mph and it cruises and pulls it just fine.     While you might be done with your 700R4 there's no reason it can't be a reliable transmission for you, it just needs to be built right. And by right I mean right parts installed by the right person.

    Like I said I havent installed them yet so cant be 100% sure but I held them up in place and I think they would be fine on stock height, maybe a ziptie to be sure. And i think theyre for 4-6" lift.

    20% is way better than any mod for any vehicle ever but not for the $2500 he had in it with brand new parts and install back in the 90's. I would compare pricing to regear front and rear diffs.

    OK it was the sending unit above the oil filter. Replaced it and pressure is reading normal again. I'd still like to know what the square drive plug is for on the oil filter housing I'm still thinking of adding a mechanical gauge.

    I was mistaken. I agree, no dummy light, so then is the sensor up by the distributor a oil pressure go-no-go just for a fuel pump signal?

    So just buy one off amazon? Where do I install the pressure line? Am I right that my truck has 2 sensors one for the gauge and one for the dummy light and fuel pump relay? This is the one by the oil filter, and I guess there's one up by the distributer?
