Control arms vs drop spindles. Which is a better lower system.

Control arms vs drop spindles. Which is a better lower system.
OK I am looking for guidance with my 1979 step side c10. I want to lower it either 3/4 or 3.5/5 but I am curious to know what people think about control arms. I am not looking for the cheaper route. But the better handling route. I plan on putting aftermarket sway bars to help. I want this truck...- Benr79
