    I need a donut

You've got a good parts store for sure.

Oh yeah, and @Rusty Nail had a good point. My crew cab has headers, H-pipe, Flowmaster 40's and full length tailpipes. There is absolutely zero drone.

I can appreciate a variety of sounds, as long as it's a V8 making the music. I've got a lot of cars and trucks, I try not to do repeats on mufflers so they all have their own sound. But one of my favorites is the cheapest. My '73 wagon has a 2bbl 350, headers, 2.5" pipes and a pair of glass...

    I need a donut

Unfortunately, I only know of one parts store that still has books on hand. It's several hundred miles from home. I've got a Napa Body Hardware book from 2013 that I have to take with me to the local store when I need to restock.

    I need a donut

I'd a tried the local Napa (still a great mom/pop type store) but it was late on a weekend so they weren't open.

Just tell them that the info is from the "GM Jay, Facts and Figures" book, lol.

    I need a donut

I rarely mess with manifolds anymore, but in the past, my local parts store back then never wanted me to have them look it up by application. They just had me go in the back and pick the donuts I wanted. These days, the stores don't stock sh!t for donut gaskets. I recently needed donut gaskets...

It's funny how personal taste can differ with exhaust sounds. I'll take the drone of a 40 series Flowmaster over the ho-hum sound of a Magnaflow any day, lol. But there's also some really good options out there that are either the best of both worlds, or a mix of the two sounds. There's way...

    Stuck Hood

There's not supposed to be a cable. You just move the latch mechanism. Does the handle not move? Try pushing downward on the hood while you try to release the mechanism. It might be adjusted too tight.

Steering Stabilizer Different Than Current One Even When Said To Be Exact Fit/ Bolt Doesn't Fit Through Tie Rod

Probably original. It's the lighter duty tie rod that you have, but I haven't messed with them much. I'm used to the heavier duty tie rods. GM had two styles in use at the same time.

Steering Stabilizer Different Than Current One Even When Said To Be Exact Fit/ Bolt Doesn't Fit Through Tie Rod

Looks like you have the smaller tie rod that maybe doesn't have a tapered hole? I dunno, the larger tie rod definitely uses the new stud like in your pictures.

Steering Stabilizer Different Than Current One Even When Said To Be Exact Fit/ Bolt Doesn't Fit Through Tie Rod

I took care of it. You didn't do anything wrong, it's just the modern era of message forums I guess. The big electronic brain sometimes thinks a photo might contain things of the no-no variety and it just needs to be approved by a moderator before it will show up.

    Trailering your square body

Imho, just load them backwards and don't worry about it. Just get the trucks strapped down well so they are stable and you'll be fine.

GMC Savana, Plus a Chevy Express Now Too

I don't like that it's painted white, but I absolutely love this van. I've pulled several loads with it now, in the 9-11k range and it handles it so well. The van is just so dang useful and the mpg isn't horrid either. And it's comfortable too. I think I've nearly put 11k miles on it now. I...

I drove it to work today, about 70 miles of backroads, round trip. It's starting to run better. It drives and handles fantastic.

    Bed mount winch

If you welded studs (or hood pins) to the tops of the bed bolts, you could have your winch bracket literally drop in place using the bed bolts and stake pockets. You would just have those studs/pins to contend with when you don't have the winch in place.

    Motor Mounts for 454

Even though it's a C20, the 3+3 part of it is the key here. Crew cab C20's have the same frame as a C30. Like @DoubleDingo said, what you are doing doesn't really apply to an engine swap. You are mixing and matching frame parts.

    2002 RAV4 massive oil leak

I'd take a closer look at this doohickey here: It screws in which usually means there's oil pressure associated with it. Also, the puddle seems to form directly below it.

    Motor Mounts for 454

No, I'm saying that if you drop in a 454 in anything at all, the 350 mount setup will work. Trucks, Chevelles, Camaros, Impalas, etc. It's been done over and over and over again for decades. Also, C10 and C20 frame brackets are the same size. It's the C30 brackets that are different because of...

Safe lowest tire pressure for 16.5” wheel.

Nice truck! For just moving it around, 5 psi should be no problem. That *might* get you enough clearance.

    Motor Mounts for 454

Yes, it's true that they are different. But using the small block mounts with a big block works just fine. 2wd and 4wd. It's been done over and over again.

    Useful parts on a '96 K3500 for a Squarebody?

Imho, pull anything that's still decent and usable. The 90's trucks and parts are getting hard to come by as well. There's people fixing them up now.

    Loose cab mount

Speaking from experience, that's actually a good way of causing the caged nut to spin. Heating the bolt won't do any good either, just risk burning the body bushing. If you are going to heat something, you heat the nut. But the OP doesn't want to cut a hole in the floor, so that option is out.
