    heater lever issues

    My defrost is cable operated and moves a metal flap inside the heater box. Is the vacuum one ac boxes only? Its really sticky as well. Like you are gonna break the lever switching from defrost to floor.

    Lower side vents do fully close..nothing coming from there. When I had the heater box out to do the heater core I made sure everything was in working order and as far as I could tell everything was in fact functional.     Shackle bolt woes....any tips on getting them out?

    We have gotten one out and replaced with a new bolt and nut for now. The other side isn't budging. Not turning at all. We have an air hammer, soaked with PB blast for weeks, impact gun....nothing has worked yet. I want to lower this truck so bad!!!!

    Shackle bolt woes....any tips on getting them out?

    Got some stubborn shackle bolts that won't budge. After searching the web the only things I have seen that will work are torching them out or sawzall. Anyone on here have any other options/tips/tricks?? Thanks

    Stock suspension messed up?

    I am measuring from level ground to center of the wheel arches. Always an inch lower no matter the level of gas in the tank. How possible is it that the front and rear springs are sagged EXACTLY 1"??? Planned on lowering 4" with shackles and hangers out back and springs and spindles up front.

    So my truck is a 82 2wd. Everything stock suspension wise besides new shocks. As the truck sits right now it is completely level from front to back. However the truck is 1" lower on the drivers side compared to the passenger side. Any clue as to how this could happen? I want to lower the truck...

    I ended up moving the striker slightly and all is good now!! Still need pins on the drivers side but the door shuts with ease now. Thanks for the link! I work next to a plmber and he gave me a piece of that stuff free of charge.

    That helped a lot even without doing the pins! The pass side is some kind of adjustment though...just no clue what to adjust. Can the strikers be moved at all to push the doors in closer to the cab?

    Anybody use these headlights?

    Guy at a local cruise night parked next to me had these. I thought they were cheesy looking myself. They are remote operated and he had his wire on the outside dangling on the hood spear just so he could change them from the cab.

    So my passenger door is the one that doesn't fully close. Well it closes and latches just fine but when you pull on the handle you can still move the door in and out roughly almost a 1/2". Is there some kind of adjustment somehow to eliminate the play and have the door not move when it's shut...

    Circled in orange is the pump for the washers. Everything works as it should. Some stuff is still plugged into that black box with the wires cut so I guess I can't remove any of it?
