Which mounts???
I'm needing to replace the cab mounts on my 87 R body square and i want it to ride pretty smooth. So i would like to have a few opinions on which would be the best ones....poly or the oe type rubber mounts. All input will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.- blublazn86

Rear Diff ID
In my quest to decode the rear diff in my 87 R10 2wd square body I have hit a wall!! The RPO tag has a code of Y03 which shows to be a 7.625 ring gear Saginaw/American axle but I can't find out any other info on what the factory gear ratio would be. I got the casting code off the axle its self...- blublazn86

Cracked frame at steering gear
So I was getting ready to lower my 87 1/2 ton 2wd square body and I ran across a problem. I found out that the frame was cracked at the steering gear. I have had 7 square bodys over the years 2 of which were 4wd and have never had this problem..I knew the frames were prone to crack there but...- blublazn86

Clear side marker lights
I'm trying to locate a place to get a set of solid clear side marker lights for my 1987 square body. I found them at LMC but they are the euro ones and I don't like them. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks- blublazn86

87 SWB 2WD R10 rear gear
I have recently purchased an 87 2wd r10 truck with a 700R4 trans and I was curious as to which gears were in the rear diff so i pulled the cover and did the counting and division thing and what I came up with blew me away....it has a 3.25 gear ratio!!! Is that a common gear or not?? I've seen...- blublazn86

Hello my fellow square body lovers!!! I have just recently purchased a 87 SWB 2wd truck. It has a 350 transmission in it an I am wanting to replace it with the correct 700R4. When I bought it it didn't have a driveshaft in it...so i'm reaching out for some knowledge to find out what...- blublazn86

Gauge freaking out
I have an 87 swb and my temp gauge is freaking out and it is the only one!! When I turn the key off it pegs out and when I turn it back on it goes back to normal! If any bowtie brothers out there can help me out any help will be appreciated. Thanks for your time- blublazn86
