Ordered new manual window regulators last night should be here end of the week. It'll be nice to be able to roll the window down and not have to fight it all the way down and then back up.
You might try a shackle lift for a cheap fix thatll be less then a hundred bucks. Check out DIY4X. For every 2 inches of added length to the shackles you get one inch of added lift.

T50 and T55 are widely used for seat belts on newer stuff that's about all I use thought other then T15-T27 at work all the time. Then there is Ferd bed bolts that are a lil different T50 cause they have a rounded corner instead of a point.

If the old M/C was leaking at the mounting point the fluid might have eating the diaphragm in the booster enough for it to be leaking vacuum causing your squishy pedal.
