LMC Factory Tach
They made them for the med duty trucks. Lots of threads on installing them, no info on the correct signal to make them work. Most of them ran off a flywheel gear tooth counter.- diaric

Where to buy a new relay??

K5 Tailgate Latch
Thanks, I already figured it out with help from another site. I had it correct, its a window safety. It jams the latch unless the window is down, makes perfect sense now. -

custom dash lighting
take it apart, paint the inside and the back of the plastic that goes over it gloss white or chrome. then add what you want for lights. making the light reflect better, helps. -

Thanks, all solved. Found the box, and with the help of the diagram, solved it, kinda. The power Y's off at the box directly to the bulb, guess what, no power . I went through every pink/black wire, every fuse, everything seemed fine. I don't know where pink/black 139 gets its power, but I...- diaric

Dash Redoing question
Its foam over a light steel frame. Removing the vinyl is good on the top, but around the vents and the front, it pays a large part in the construction and form and is probably better left there. If there's a crack, you'll probably need to grind out the foam and fill it, as it will be cracked... -

How To Refurbish Your Dashpad
Its probably ounces more than it was stock. The best fillers would probably be flexible stuff for bumpers but I didn't want to pay that kind of $$ to test how well it would work. The only rough spot is the right hand corner where I didn't notice it wasn't blocked well. I might put a 6.2... -

Just happened to come across this thread after I had done mine. Did a lot of the refinish very similar but finished it with plasti-dip and a roller. If you use their primer, its nearly permanent, looks almost like the original. Used a vinyl leveling compound as a top coat as it was flexible...
