Oh don't worry. I couldn't agree more I don't like the running boards either. I will be taking them off very soon. Just haven't been a huge priority. I'd rather fix or upgrade some to make it run better than look better. I saw a set on a Silverado that I would like to run. Had a spot for a step...

Got new wheels and tires for the truck and decided to put my old ones up for sale. Tires have lots of tread still but are a bit old. Held air just fine. Asking $600 obo for all 5.

Is there a proper way to adjust the temp gauge? I threw mine off the other day when I was replacing lights and now my needle sits at 3 O' clock. Do I just reset it with the power off or with the power on? I'm wanting to make it that it's not an adjustment issue before I look further into it.
I had a grant steering wheel on my 79' that was installed by the PO. Was a better feel than the stock wheel on my 77'. I will probably go the same route but will have to wait until i get a tilt column. I'd imagine it will get in the way of my gauges without one.

Replaced my transmission filter and gasket. So much smoother now. Also removed the trim off the body as it was coming off in most areas. Also wired up my rear speakers.

Not really, I always hated how dim my lights were on my 79' and when I got my 77' it had about half of the light out. So this was a welcomed change from before.
