That's why if I do go twards the 383 id be using the holley sniper, automatic tuning with a O2 sensor to make sure your not running lean or rich. And works when going up and down in elevation. Especially with a hyperspark distributor your spark timing would be perfect everytime- TheClassicRed

yeah, that's kinda how I've been feeling, That why I want the 8.1 since it and the 7.4 Vortec are technically not LS engines. or sticking with the 350 and stroking it out to 383 and throwing a Holley sniper on it for MPG when I want MPG and power when I want Power. but then again I can also do...- TheClassicRed

Howdy, How she stands now and my list of plans/parts.
On-going Parts List That I've created for what I need for the rebuild. I have a few parts already for the 383 but those are because they came off my grandfather's old racecar, heads need completely rebuilt including a new valve job and blocks already bored .30 to .60 over but has some scaring. But I would probably be looking at about the same price of getting them...- TheClassicRed
