    Looking for advice, my 86 gmc sierra classic has had a check engine light coming on and off while driving? All gauges are good, nothing shows any indication of a problem. Any suggestions on where to start looking?

    Um.... yeah it's connected now, it was connected with tape and my truck was having shift issues. It's leaking I'm replacing it and cleaning the valve and then test driving it.

    Can anyone tell me what this fitting is called, I've had shift problems and found someone put electrical tape over it with the trans vacuum line in it. I hooked up a piece of hose to it for now. I'm replacing the modulator tonight and probably should replace the fitting. Thanks

    Hey guys, new water pump installed and the threaded pipe nipple is leaking. I put pipe thread on it. Any suggestions on an alternative? I'm thinking about using pipe dope.     I've used both, napa and oriellys. Lmc also.... got 3 bad headlight switches, from all 3 stores finally got a good one from oriellys. Just got a bad water pump from napa, got the same one on order from Oriellys. It's fun installing bad pumps. Haven't tried Rockauto yet .
