Cooling your garage
I'm not sure how cool you're try to get it but I would start with insulating the door. There is a lot of heat coming off that door. I have also noticed that in my house there is no insulation in the attic above my garage. I guess the builders are cutting corners where they can. Next you... -

Ideas for dome light?

Heads up on 3" drop spindles
After installing 3" lowering spindles I had to grind on the lower control arms to keep the 15" stock wheels from rubbing on hard turns.- SHILOW

how does dash pad bolt/hold in place
The dash slides into place as Boone said. Then there are multiple screws that are located at the front bottom, right side, and connecting to the gauge bezel. If you look at page 119 in the LMC catalog the dash retainer (slides) are item #2. The diagram also shows you were the screws go...
