    Replacing both rear cables, front cable, wheel cylinders and shoes. Couldn't source an intermediate cable, but thankfully mine is in ok shape.

    Were there any years that GM didn't put automatic slack adjusters on their rear drum brakes? I am getting the brakes on my 1980 step side back together and discovered there was no slack adjuster lever on my truck. Every picture I have seen of gmc/chevy show these included. Mine are 11x 2-3/4...

    Changing from 80 square headlight back to 74-78 round headlight question.

    I don't like the 79/80 round with the bezel that surrounds the turn signal. If I am going to change mine I want to go back to the 73-78 style. I guess I will need to keep an eye out for a round headlight rad support. Thanks

    A new Squarebody owner in Nova Scotia.

    I picked up my first Squarebody a couple of weeks ago. 1980 Stepside in good condition, but as always they have something to fix. Hopefully I can get these items sorted before spring comes around.
