Coming along on the chassis swap. Using the original front cab mounts from the '78 Chevy, but I'll have to modify the rear mounts using the ones from the M37. -

I'd like to find the two front body mounts for a Square body cab... with a two inch body lift. I suppose no one sells them without buying the entire kit. But I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has removed any that they might still have stored and gathering dust. -

O'Reilly's has gone off their nut, I think. I went in for some fuel line and they wanted over seven bucks a foot. I mean, I know stuff has gone up but HOLY! I walked out and went to NAPA to buy it for two bucks and change. -

Calipers stick because the piston wears and it gets cocked to one side. Freeing it up won't stop it from happening again. Phenolic pistons are especially prone to wear like this. Buy a replacement with a steel piston. -

Build one... I wanted a 24x24 shop and priced one with a local outfit. A simple pole barn configuration with a big opening on one side. No floor, no wiring, no doors, was quoted at 20K. I built it myself with a concrete floor, big sliding doors, man door, and sub'd out the electrical... total... -

Hate to tell you this Buddy... but anti or pro, oil prices are going to rise. The Saudi's are in control of the world market regardless of who's in the White House. -

I like the original u-joints. They last a lot longer than joints you have to grease every so often. Why people like joints they need to grease is beyond me. -

I've got my body swap well underway. The cab for my M37 is ready to go to the professional welder to make sure it's solid and safe. Monday evening I'm hoping to start fitting it on the Chevy frame. -

Lots of those Caddy/Olds air cleaners out there. Never seen modified oil baths, but a pair on dual quads would be really different and IMO very cool. -
