i would get the battery checked out first a weak battery will make the alternator work overtime, if the battery checks out check the voltage at the battery while running anything over 14.5 is to high and you have a bad voltage regulator wich is internal in the alt
one thing i have learned from thirty years in the shop never assume anything and always check the simple things first, if you didn't have a good connection jumping it it was in vain
if the body shop pulled the bed back to paint the back of the cab check to see if they plugged the rear harness back together and as everyone else says the grounds
check your connections at the battery, check voltage at the battery it takes 12.6 volts to make a starter work properly other items on the truck will work with less voltage start with the simple things first
might think i am crazy but smack the proportioning valve with a rubber mallet when trying to bleed if it is stuck usualy will jarr it loose and allow it to reset
that trick will work for a ac cab truck, i tried it for the heat aspect of it and it does not fit into a non ac , the ac one is longer, there is a huge differance in the amount of air it does move bacause i plugged it in and ran it just to see if there was a differance
plowed for years with seven and half blade they work well it tight areas like driveways if doing large parking an eight footer takes a little less time, nine foot will be heavy even for a three quarter , will be hard on the suspension
