Painting inside of cab
The exterior is not painted. My plan was to do interior, motor then exterior. I'm not looking for a show truck, just something that looks good and I can be proud of doing it myself with a moderate budget. Sorry, I just saw this reply. The original is high sierra. No headliner, no pillar molding, vinyl floor. I'm going to put a headliner and all the pillar molding back in. The only thing that scares me about spray gun painting is fisheye and hazing. The last time I painted a car was 30 years ago... -

I have an 85 gmc with saddle tan interior. I want to go to 84-87 blazer gray, but I need to paint the whole inside of the cab. Would 2 stage spray paint work and have a nice look or should it be done by a professional? -

Sttering column bearings
I have a 85 gmc High Sierra. I took the steering column apart to tighten up the 4 loose bolts. While taking it apart, the balls for the bearings fell out. I got the back one back in and now I'm putting the pivot pins in and the balls are falling out. I have something put in wrong and the bearing... -

Driver switch not working on passenger window.
Thanks, I'll try the troubleshooting today, but another thing I noticed while looking around. The blue/white wire and the tan wire coming from the passenger switch have a tap wire coming off and going to ground. If they aren't grounded, the passenger switch doesn't work. I checked continuity...- Skippy969

I have an 85 GMC K1500. I'm working on the power windows and have run into a problem. The drivers side switch works for the drivers side, but not the passenger side. The passenger side switch does work for the passenger window. I tried jumping pink to tan or pink to blue with white stripe on the...- Skippy969
