    Black Fuse-like Electrical Connector?

With it disconnected like in the pics, I read 12 volts to ground on the left side. Just as a check, I put the meter on the right side, and also measured 12V to ground. Is that common? Expected 12 volts on one side. Is that an indication of another problem somewhere down the line? Backfeeding...

Melted black wire headed to fuse box

So, my 73 C10 truck died suddenly on the road last night. No power, lights, nothing. I replaced the alternator since it looked near original, and since we noticed that the negative terminal was pretty damaged and loose. Still no power of any kind. After about an hour or so of hunting for the...

    Black Fuse-like Electrical Connector?

Working through an electrical issue (resolved), I encountered the connector shown in this image. It’s located next to the windshield washer pump. Mangled Bolt Top Shock Mount?

Interesting. Original shock does have AC Delco stamp. This truck has 46k original miles so I’m not surprised.

    Mangled Bolt Top Shock Mount?

I’ve never replaced shocks before. The two front shocks have this mangled looking bolt in the outside face of the shock. Other side (inside) of frame is a nut. Any suggestions on how these are removed before I get myself in a pickle?

    73 C10 Factory Hubcap Options

Good to know. I thought about upgrading to the later RPO N67 mentioned by Keith but will likely stick to factory offering for my year. Maybe on a slightly wider wheel for nicer stance.

    73 C10 Factory Hubcap Options

Can anyone point me to a reference guide or have any information to share on what factory hubcap options word for 1973 C10? These are mine, but I’m wondering if these were the highest option that year, and when the steelies with small center cap and beauty ring came out. Thanks.
