Let there be light...

How did you run the wires from the door jamb. My 86 is like yours in that it had no dome light from the factory and an old switch that was falling out in the door jamb. Went to take it out and chase the wires. I pulled the half kick panel cover off and it was all metal, no access to wires.

Thanks all. The seat cover is just a $35 one from WalMart. Can't stand it, it moves around to much but it'll work until my repro cover comes in this week.

Newbie to the forum from Louisiana

Just picked up a new toy a few weeks ago. 1986 C10 Custom Deluxe shortbed, 305/TH350. Only had 41,000 miles on it and got it for a steal. Plan on putting deluxe interior in it as it didn't come with the headliner and trim. Already replaced dash pad, put in a stereo since it didn't even have one...
