    Carb to TBI Conversion

I only have a single tank. On drivers side. I would think that as long as the line dimensions are the same, it should fit your application. Probably just reuse your current selector. But im not positive. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    Carb to TBI Conversion

I bought a new baffled tank....and in-tank fuel pump for a 1987 R10 with fuel injection. Used original gas lines for return style setup. In my case, I went with -6 lines mated to the 1/4" hard lines at the pump. And of course a fuel filter appropriate for the donor vehicle. For me it was a 93...

I was heating up my old rods to put on new pistons/pins....I ended up not being on center with this one. Is this going to cause an issue? If so, how do I get it off without damaging new parts? Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

Green thing has factory number stamped on it. Google it. My 85 has one. It is a speed sensor. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

Looks like it may have been for a plow?. Pink wires running to the front look like heavy duty power wire. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

Nice work!! I remember when I blew apart my harness for my 85 to 93 tbi swap. What a mistake!! I took 2 seasons to learn ALL the wiring diagrams and pinouts. It was a huge job, but I got it all done and it runs fantastic!! While I didnt want to take the time, nor did I want to learn wiring, I...

    Steering Squeak

Or, if your looking to remove the AC, just get a different single belt pulley for the PS pump and it should be good. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

1978 C10 Fleetside 250 I6 3 speed on the tree. Engine rebuild. Happening now. I got the Engine/Trans removed, separated, and now cleaning it enough to take it apart without a ton of grease everywhere. It was really bad, as you can see from the photos. Power washed it yesterday. Will begin the...

    Tanks

If your using the harness from your donor vehicle, it will all hook up fine for the fuel injection, provided your using the compatible pump for that style harness. But you WILL need the ECU (computer) from the donor vehicle to run it. The 84 computer will not run the new harness. I'd buy an ECU...

Yes, carburetor setups will work with baffled tanks for fuel injection, but not the opposite way around. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    tbi issues

Sounds like the throttle return spring in the throttle body is weak/broken. Replace that or add a throttle return spring like in a carburetor setup and you should be good. Sent from my SM-G965U1 using Tapatalk

    Carb to TBI Conversion

I did a swap from a 85 350 quadrojet carburetor to 93 350 TBI. I absolutely love it. No more starting issues...obd tells me if there are issues...better gas mileage (not much more, but noticable)..I couldnt be happier. Did it all myself as my first swap ever.....it was a hard and tedious...

    95 TBI 350 Compatible w/ 90-91 tbi?

I swapped a 93 350 tbi into my 85 C10. It has a serpentine belt and tensioner setup. I would assume that you would have to run the newer setup of the 95 you have or change the front accessory brackets to you old setup. I'm my experience, it all has to do with the accessory brackets. Run the...
