Thanks for the info dude, but the thing is my trucks harness and entire wiring is from a 1986 as that's what the truck originally say. I just did a body swap
Well now that I have been messing around with it lately, I must be narrowing it down. Before when I connected the connector for the cluster I had nothing at all. But I think I connected a wire or something, I don't really remember lol but now I got lights and turn signal markers. But no gauges...
I was watching power block TV and saw them use Meguiar's paint restoration kit on an older car and it brought that shine right back. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004EB12FS?pc_redir=1411732367&robot_redir=1
Alright, so by reading my past updates in this thread I left off somewhere in the time frame of getting my engine painted. Well I cleaned it all off which was quite lengthy of a process. Then I painted the whole thing black with the individual fuel lines being red and the valve covers as well...
Well obviously I haven't updated this in a very long time haha. I've been caught with life to put it simply but I got really far on this project since and I will promise to post a huge update tonight.

I got the new flywheel a couple weeks ago test ran the engine and to my surprise it ran super awesome! Fired right up after getting the fuel bled, no leaks amazingly, and dont believe it burns oil. So now the engine is just chilling out on blocks on the ground. I need to go to town and get paint...
For all of you who has painted a square body before, how much paint do these trucks to paint? I need a range of how much paint to purchase, for the box, cab, fenders, hood, core support every single inch of the body except for the underside.
Update: I got the oil pan on, kdp fix, new rear and front crank seals, timing cover seal, new oil, fuel fitler, oil filter. Then I went to test run the engine by putting the flywheel on and crap I had the wrong size flywheel, so I have one coming in the mail then i'll for sure be able to test it...
Keep patient! I did manage to put the motor in last weekend and it fits like a champ. Im impressed with tn diesels mounts except I need to figure out something for the oil return on the turbo now. I still waiting for warmth to get the gaskets on and I will post pictures sometime but the internet...
I know I can't wait either! This is the kit I will be using http://www.tndieselpower.com/site/products-page/conversion-parts/mount-member-package/ Is the kit you used to? If it is does it come with every single nut and but you need to drop the engine in? I might still box up the frame a little...
