    8 ft bed.... I'm guessing not a lot of folks do anything with a 1 ton Sierra 454 srw...??? I think it's a great stating point for a muscle truck. Mine has an LS6 spec old school BBC. With the gears and brakes it seems like a fun foundation....

    Thanks guys. I went out this morning (just got her last night) and measured the bed. It's an 8 ft bed sorry bout that. I have only seen heavy 3/4 tons in a are configuration.     hydrostatic boost thing question

    Belt gets warm and stretches??? Do you have a laser temp gun to get some data? Maybe the fluid is overheating?? Might need a new pump.

    I am cutting a coil out of the front and doing an axle over spring relocation and removing the helper spring as well as a couple of springs out of the spring pack to soften ride. Thx. Milan
