    Something often not considered is elevation. Less dense air causes richness. Most settings given are for sea level. Also I was told you lose 1 point of vacuum for every thousand feet of elevation and need to advance 1 degree of timing for every thousand feet of elevation - as a general rule.

    Don't know if this applies to you, but I was told to add 1 degree of timing for every 1000 feet of elevation at your location. Also vacuum will read low 1" for every 1000 feet. I'm at 4500 feet.

    Just got a 2010 Camaro LS V6

    lock plate retaining ring

    Chevrolet service manual says always use a new one on reassembly. I didn't. Works fine.
