Headers vs corvette manifolds
Time for new headers. I used 63-66 corvette manifold on my 71 and 72. Will they work on my 79 square body, 350 with nv4500 and hydraulic clutch! Thanks in advance for any thoughts- curbstone mech

swapping doors power/manual
My current doors are manual. The truck came with a new spare repop passenger door. Ive decided to use it since its just taking up space. My drivers door has a dent that the PO tried to fix. RPO code MY6 in a 1990?
Why would a 1990 Silverado 4x4 have an RPO code of an MY6 transmission? I'm hoping that it is an A833 trans but could it be an NV3500? I thought that the A833's weren't available after 1987.This truck has the 4.3 engine in front of the trans! I want to grab the trans for my square body 79, but...- curbstone mech
