my only reasoning was this builder has had expierience and success on the Fi-TECHs. But, as you mentioned, I’ve heard good things about all (3). Fi-Tech, Holley & Edelbrock

Also, I think earlier in this build thread, I shared a photo of what the engine would resemble, but after some more black accents, I decided to do a black engine with some chrome and Orange valve covers/air cleaner. So this is the 383 Stroker I’ll start with from a base. It looks great. - Jason

    I went with the same, 700R, 4-10's and then doing a 383 w/ Fi-Tech. Should come out clean, I hope. - Jason

Besides the motor and trans, all I have left are some little issues here and there and the installation of the Vintage A/C. Hopefully get back on it in a couple of weeks or so. -Jason

So about a month ago, I was able to finish the bed. Used the Mar-K oak bed kit, which turned out great.

Boy- I hope that’s not the case. Lol. I purchased a 2” drop cross member to run. I assume that gives the allotted clearance. Have not test fit yet. Now I’m nervous. :)

Well, I’ve almost got to a point where I’ve done everything I can here at the house. It’s pretty much ready to head back to the shop to get the bed assembled and bolted on. Coming along well. Interior turned out great. All new glass, rubber, door panels, trim. I’m really happy with the...

Got back on the C10 this morning early. Put about 7 hours into it. Finished all the stereo and wiring, installed the old school loop carpet (light gray), got the seat in and really liked how these door seal covers turned out from LMC truck. Good progress today. Jason-

Next question. What are the best Chrome bumpers to use on these and best place to get them? I’d like to do some quality triple chrome plated, made in the USA sets. - Jason

I posted this question in the TECH (suspension area), but hoping someone can help me in this thread. So now, I'm at 5.5" Front (2-1/2" drop spindle w/ 3" drop coils) & 7" Rear (flip kit). When doing these flip kits, it is normal to keep the normal OEM springs in these? Or what lowered rear...

    1974 C10 rear leaf springs

I'm revisiting this question again, hoping someone can help. I actually swapped out the drop coils to 3" coils and still utilizing the 2-1/2" drop spindles. So now, I'm at 5.5" Front & 7" rear (flip kit). When doing these flip kits, it is normal to keep the normal OEM springs in these? Or...

    1974 C10 rear leaf springs

What’s up everyone? On my build I did a 6” Rear flip kit, but I I have some rear leaf springs that the PO took some leafs out and did a funky job. What does everyone recommend replacing with for rear leaf springs? In the front I did a 2.5 lowering spindle and a 1” lowering coil spring (3.5”)...

Thanks. Yes, fuel cell is EFI. And yup, it’s low right now as I am waiting to get all the correct bed weight and everything mounted to see what height I want to change out the rear leafs too and the correct shock length to use. -Jason
