    Help identifying wires

Trying to clean up wires In my 84. I know that some of the wires are for the speed sensor that plugs in the back of the cluster for cruise control. I’m unsure about the numerous snipped wires. They all come from this box under the dash. What is this?

    Suspected exhaust leak.

Socket won’t even fit over because of the exhaust pipe. No room to turn a wrench because of the frame.

    Suspected exhaust leak.

So I found the exhaust leak while the engine was running I ran my hand around feeling for air. The leak is coming from the donut, the seal is in bad shape. My question is how and the hell do you get that top bolt off without having to cut the exhaust off to get to it? I got the bottom two bolts...

    Suspected exhaust leak.

I’ve had a ticking noise that has gotten worse. I suspect it’s the exhaust, I started at the front of the engine and worked back. I was going along checking the manifold bolts for tightness and found my back passenger side rear bolt was missing. I looked at it further and found that there isn’t...

    Zero power to HVAC control

Typically the brown wire is what powers the selector switch from the fuse box. If you can’t trace that wire down just run a wire from an ignition hot with an in-line fuse.

    A/C control , no power

If you have trouble locating the brown wire that powers your selector switch you could always tap into an ignition hot on your fuse box and run it with an in-line fuse.

Quick & easy turn signal stalk install

I figured this would help those who need to replace their turn signal stalk. I seen some posts about having to tear your steering column apart to replace it, this isn’t the case. Simply take off the plastic cover that’s secured underneath the column, it should be four screws. Unbolt the metal...

    Installing tailgate band

Thought about that, just wasn’t sure how well it would hold up. Double sided tape seems like the better option for me, thanks.

    Installing tailgate band

Wanting to install a tailgate band, problem is I don’t have any screw holes to go off of to mount it. What would be the best way to transfer over the mounting holes to the tailgate?

    Wrong compressor?

Our trucks don’t come equipped with high pressure switches. I’m thinking I can just leave it off. Only purpose is to shut the compressor off if it senses pressure to high to prevent damage.

    Wrong compressor?

Trying to get the AC going, still have to get the idle solenoid for the carb. Anyways, their should only be one connector coming from the compressor. Dark green wire that runs to low pressure and a black ground. I have another plug on the back of the compressor I’m guessing for a high pressure...
