    1st-Verifing T.D.C. is a must using various methods explained on this site. Why is this sounding like a E-fuel issue again. The fuel system components on squares are not designed for E-Fuel so expect to modernize when these problems arise. Rather than piece by piece and hairs by hairs!!!

    295/60/15's Super T-10, went from 4:11 to 3:23 made a huge difference for cruising and still enough power! (400 ft/lbs) rated. The Gear Company people I used said 3:08 were a bit "High", I agree.

If the numbers do "NOT" line up perfectly on a horizontal plane, (No variation at all) then the likelihood that it's had an odometer roll is "huge" due to the rolling mechanisim within the tumbler?     Stranded… could use some ideas.

    Had basically same issue on "87" Twin Tanks. When I pulled the tanks off and apart the "E" fuels had basically disintegrated every rubber or plastic part in the fuel system "serious" mush!! That included tank switches also. I replaced the entire fuel feed system!!!!!!!!! Problem solved

    Was the installed "New" Flywheel for "Internally" or "Externally" balanced engine? Which do you have? I believe both will fit, but one will not be balanced properly??

    I have a Heavy Duty Rubber precut-out matte !!! Works Great although my Square is retired as I and "Only" carts around 2 lawn chairs, a few boxes of beer, and food cooler.

    Hard Teflon rod about 8" with the end rounded on the bench grinder / sander. Run it through to back of cylinder and you can watch and feel piston coming up to top.
