    What is the proper brake master cylinder on a 1987 chevy v20 with the c6p package ? Mine has the older all cast iron type , I thought they are supposed to be aluminum with a plastic reservoir .

    I will see if I can get a picture , there is no telling what the previous owners removed from the truck over the years , I am pretty sure there are supposed to be bolts or rivets there .

    I had the front clip off of my 87 chevy v20 and noticed there were two empty holes just behind and in front of the frame cross member support by the steering box it does not look like it ever had any bolts in there or rivets , can anyone check theirs and see if there are supposed to be bolts in...

    Well I just got the front clip off of my 87 and I don't think the cab is salvageable there is quite a bit of rust on it .

    I was curious because my 85 Chevy built in Canada sure seems to have better rust prevention than my 87 built in Wisconsin .

    I don't know if this has been brought up but is there any difference between Canadian built sqaure bodies and USA made sqaure bodies ? Body steel metal formulas and so on .

    Since I found the rust on my 87 I am going to remove the interior light on my 85 a spray the crap out of the rear window seam with some fluid film to hopefully stop it from happening on that one .

    I removed my rear window and there is a bunch of rust there it looks like I will need to go to the auto recyclers and get a section of cab around the glass for some repairs .

    I just bought a 1987 Chevy V20 with the 4 speed sm465 , I need to know if the clutch rod that pushes the clutch fork has another piece on the clutch fork end , is there supposed to be another piece on the end of that rod ?

    They are both going to stay stock with patina the white one is going to get the rust fixed as best I can the worst part is the back window channel is rusty and the cab corners . The gray trucks body is rock solid the rust on it is just surface rust I sprayed a bunch of fluid film in the cab...

    I have a 1985 Chevy c10 longbed 305 700r4 1987 Chevy V20 350 four speed I just picked up the 87 , it was sitting for nine years and got it running the next day .
