    As you know the 4l80 had 2 Soren sensors. The input is in the tranny, but on a 4x4 trans, the back sensor would run off the stock t case, but mine didn’t have that one so I decided to use the DD unit.

    Yes,I repinned the wires at the ECM. I’m using the Dakota Digital pass through VSS the speedo cable on the transfer case passes through the VSS. Model number SEN-4160, if I remember right.

    So, I got the 700R4 out, and got another harness from a 6.0/4L80E to replace the wiring I cut out of mine, got the correct spacer for tranny/t case, and a flat 6.0 flexplate with spacer. Total spent so far: $550.

    Where the bolt holes for the tranny mount are on the bottom. They are offset toward the tranny a bit and interfere with the pan.
