Wanted: 78-80 Wiper Motor Crank Arm

Hey parts guys. I need a 78 - 80 wiper motor crank arm. It seems to be a hard to find item. I found plenty for Pontiacs and Camaros. Does somebody know if there is a interchange on the wiper crank arms? If somebody has one from a 78-80 CK I would like to buy it. Only problem is I'm located in...

    You can't escape Motorad thermostats.

As Motorad thermostats have a bad reputation I ordered Gates (195° and 180°). After I took them out of the box I instantly recognized the Motorad stamping. I needed some parts from summit and ordered Tuffstuff thermostats, each for 12.99$. The Tuffstuff come in plastic box and when looking at the...

    350 Motor mount bracket question.

I replaced my rubber inserts clamshell inserts with poly ones and now I have following question: Is it better to use the original motor mount bracket which also sits on the tabs of the insert or can I also use an aftermarket bracket that only sits on the bolt?

    OER headlight buckets. Don't buy.

The OER buckets are the same as you can buy everywhere for cheap. There is just a sticker saying: "OER AUTHORIZED The enclosed product has been approved by OER" which comes with a higher price tag. The material is thin, the adjuster screws don't seat good in the holes. The outer edges are are...

Working on this project since 5 years and 2021 is the year when it will be back on the road again. Everything went well but sometimes I think Ford engineers build things just to piss of mechanics.

    BORA wheel spacers

Ha! Got my BORA wheel spacers after waiting 2 months for USPS to deliver. Wanted to have the same track width on my K5 since I bought it. I never liked the goofy look of the smaller track on the rear axle. Custom steel spacers, great machine work from motorsport tech...

1973-79 K5 Cheyenne Quarter Panel Emblem Restoration

I bought some old cheyenne emblems and gave them a little fresh up before putting them on my K5. One emblem was beyond restoration, too much chrome was chipped off. Lucky me that I bought 3. Cleaned them from sand an dirt with hot water, soap and a brass brush. Removed the paint with paint...

    Toe adjustment DIY

I recognized that the toe in of my k5 was way too much (1/2 inch) because of the wear pattern of the tires. I made a little setup to get relatively exact measurments. Car on jack stands on flat surface, wheels off, steering straight with locked steering wheel. Checked for bend axle tube, the...
