So.....What would be the most cost effective way to put posi traction in my stock rear end ???
It's a 350 with the overdrive transmission.

No. Really, what rear axle does it have?

You can find a posi pumpkin at the boneyard cheap. You'll need to buy new ring and pinion gears and an install kit that has bearings, shims, crush sleeve and seal.

The absolute cheapest thing to do get limited slip would be to find an Eaton G80 pumpkin in the junkyard, but that’s not a good idea. That’s what I have, and it makes a constant “wooo” noise at certain speeds and loads so I’m thinking that’s not so good. I’d do what Roger said.
