Having some trouble getting 86 Chevy C10 Silverado Air Conditioning working correctly. I have a brand new system (installed last year) and have never got it running right. It seems the compressor isn’t kicking on and I THINK I have two fan speeds but they aren’t very pronounced. Can anyone share some tips on how to properly run through the AC system to diagnose it? Thanks!

Check the fan operation and blower resistor. For ac signal, check green wire the goes to the pressure switch on the accumulator. To check ac clutch operation, should be able to short the connector and see if clutch engages.

Did u install it all? Did you pull a vacuum and check for leaks in the system?
