GM seems to be a little schizophrenic on the G80 and G86 RPO. I was unaware that positracs were available at all in the CK light trucks. The P & G vans but not the CK...
Where is that snippet from? Looks like one of the dealer build books.

Interesting that they had a special RPO for the Dana 70 dually called maximum traction... Locker or something else? Just a cursory mention of maximum traction in the axle ident pages of the parts books.

I've never seen G86. I just had to pull my mower out of a swamp, and I knew my 84 Blazer had posi, is it G80? Anyhow it spun both tires right off the bat, on slimy grass. I'll post pictures of the sticker and my torn up lawn
