hood rear trim

does anyone know if they repop the trim on the back of the hood?my scottsdale has one but it,s tired . it,s made out of plastic and chrome like door guard trim ,and no lmc doesn,t list it

I've never seen the hood edge trim but here's some generic door trim.

I haven’t seen that on a truck. My car had it, and I just threw it away because it was all faded and chewed up. I knew there was no way in hell it was being reproduced either. If yours is just tired but still in good structural shape, you should consider restoring it in some way.

A friend mine had it on his '76 Scottsdale. I've never seen it on an 81 and up. Here's a '76 with it.

I think it is somone getting excessive with the door triim, that or they had that book of special parts for people who like chrome and other stupid shiny crap.
