Is there a board favorite?
Are they basicaĺly all the same?
Is there anything specific I NEED to know about installing one?

Eighty two bucks? What are the hidden costs?

Please and thank you.

I prefer to weld them in place, while others bolt them on. If that price includes shipping, then that's the going price. Steel is preferred over fiberglass. Chasis Tech aka Aim Industries sells steal roll pans as well. They mas produce them here in Phoenix and keep the costs down over the smaller specialty shops. I have purchased several roll pans from them and haven't had any problems.

I don't know, is there a difference?
I want one on the '77.

Wah! The pixturez are from a company called NDure, it's steel but the listing only reads down to '81... :(
Wtf? It's really a difference?

The filler panels and fenders are different, including the lower leading edge that would go up against a roll pan.

I don't find one in the entirety of the innerwebz.

This is very disheartening and almost unbelievable.

More research must be necessary!

I don't think this is what Isaac was talkin about...but that's kinda the way my night has been goin..******.

Dying to.
Would in a heartbeat.
A REAR pan is DEFINATELY in that truck's future and I don't own a good lookin straight bumper to put on it..I put in on the Blazer. After I can drive it, ima pick up a new used hood and hit the body shop for some paint and I like to do things in threes so I figured...but the roof needs paint too. I guess that could be the #3 thing.
It's lookin like some kind of focking full custom jobby for the front bumper. Figure two cuts and two welds for a decent tuck and that rulz out chrome so heart.broken. </3

It'll be in the body shop sooner than I think. We've already been fighting (the body shop and I) over my demand for single-stage paint. No full paint work up or nothin, i'm only gonna paint a few parts. I jumped out of the bed the other day and took the entire piece of bed trim with me. Life in my garage is proving hard on the Babe. :(

Three .

Rear pan, hood, and roof I guess.

No money for custom front bumpers, i'll have to figure somethin else out.

That’s funny the derailment thing lol I saw a vid on YouTube of what appears to be a hood rat that has a front pan on a round eye. It doesnt show how it was done but it can’t be all that hard to make.

Yeah...make. Ew. :signs16:
After I really started looking hard, I only find a HANDFUL of round eyes with roll pan lookin type dealys on the whole internet. Hand made lookin crap fer sure. Pass.
Ain't that kinda truck so ima skip it for now, ain't gettin stuck on something so meaningless. If I could toss one up there with a handful of @89Suburban 's sheet metal screws, :superhack:i'd paint it and everything but I gotta keep the ball rollin since it's started. Moving forward!

Did you check with Chasis Tech for front roll pans? I have purchased my fair share of rear roll pans from them over the years.
