installed fox shocks on the k5 this weekend.

Fancy!

What shocks did you run before and is the difference noticeable?

When I rebuilt the suspension I put on brand new rancho shocks on it. I've really only put about 500 miles on it since doing that but I've had these raptor shocks laying around for awhile. I was gonna put them on my sons truck that he's been working on, but happened to have the k5 in my shop on the rack to adjust the rear brakes, knocked the dust off the fox shocks and held them up to the k5... Well sorry son....There are going on my truck! Haha
Now, I've only driven the k5 home from my shop about 3 miles, but yes I believe it is way smoother. Got the trailer loaded now headed camping and riding for thanksgiving week. So I'm sure I will find some time to play in the dirt with it and see how it really feels. I will update next week

You gotta watch out for that cat man. She even has extra claws! I got in a fight with her once, and now I only have 1 testicle...

Looks really nice, man! I'm kicking myself for replacing my 3-speed manual with an automatic, and selling the clutch linkage.:( Wish I would have gone to a 5-speed manual, or at least a Muncie with an AutoGear case and wide ratio gearset.

Thanks man!

I feel your pain, I can't believe the number of old parts I tossed or sold, thinking I wouldn't need them or want them. I never should have gotten rid of a single one!

Installed a brand new (literally) 2004 Alpine radio/CD player. Now I just need to get some decent speakers.

I'm not some audio expert but I have a suggestion for your speakers, I found these at a pawn shop for 20$ they go for the same on amazon. They are a 2" 2 way kicker speaker and for the price they are badass. If you're interested I can get more details on them, can't make em work in the outer speaker pockets but they naturally angle outwards when you mount them in the center and they sound like they're right in your face
