Does anyone know of a good source for figuring out where all the vacuum lines need to go on a 1984 California 350 with all the smog garbage on it? The original vacuum pattern decal is gone under the hood, and I've tried both the Chilton and Haynes manuals, but still can't get this thing running right. I plan on eventually just yanking all of it out, and dropping a different motor and trans in, but the coughing and sputtering, and 'Check Engine' light are driving me crazy! I lost my secondaries (due to vacuum I think), and the motor is slurping fuel like crazy! Until I can afford a new manifold and carb for this turd, I'd like to at least get it running semi-correctly!

I considered just pulling a lot of it, and capping things off, but not sure if that will just make things worse!?! This is super frustrating!

Here's an emissions diagram for a Rochester E4ME Quadrajet based system. This one isn't CA specific, but fifty state GM B/G/F Bodies got the same system.

Yea, that would be great if it's not too much trouble. Mine is a California emissions package, but it may help me get the basic plan. Thanks!

Yes, it does have all the California garbage on it, so it gets real messy. If just one hose isn't attached to the right place, the whole thing is askew!

I just redid all the emissions vacuum lines and thermostatic sensors on my K30. It runs perfect, which totally surprised me. I just confirmed all my baseline setting so I can smog the truck. It's been non-oped since 1998. I was overwelmed at first when I looked at all that spaghetti, but really it's not to hard.

I honestly don’t know but mines stock no one has messed with little to none
Look at the emissions sticker under the hood on the radiator support, it'll tell you if it's California or not.
