So i've done some research on here and cant find a post with my issue. Most issues are a pegged fuel gauge or something similar.

My issue i've run into is my fuel gauge doesn't move at all. I have removed the ground from the tank and no change to the gauge. At one time my fuel gauge did work however empty was at 1/4 and full showed past "F'" all the sudden one day the gauge stopped registering and rest at 1/4. I'm not sure what other steps to take.

Hmm... It sounds to me like your gauge sender was on its way out the door, and either something else broke, or the sender just kicked the bucket. Even though your situation is atypical, there are some pretty square body universal tests to try. See what you think about the last post on this page:

Mine acts identical to the way you say yours did. I blame the sending unit because the gauge and the tank are clearly communicating.

Does your truck have 2 tanks? My gauge recently pegged empty and i changed the sending unit to no avail, my other tank is not hooked up and the switch valve does not work. Long story short the switch on the dash was on the opposite tank that is empty. If yours does check the switch lol
