    I will keep you all posted on how it turns out it will take a minute to order parts and put it all together but I will post pics hopefully this thread will be useful to someone else as well!

    Yes I can .. hopefully not to pricey.. maybe I’ll do hinges and cab mounts ..maybe where the fenders are bolted to the aftermarket fender wells are making it fit like crap and have the side gaps?

    I already did that today.. the stock fender has the same large gap.. just closes a little more down.

    79 ..it does not have an earlier nose. I will check forward cab mounts..are those neer the front bumper?? Was looking at them today .. replace if look warn? Is this auto part store stuff?... and yes wen putting a car truck together I would usually work from cab to nose .. the whole pass side...

    Ok cool thanks I’d like to see some stock hood gaps as I no body panels. On old trucks and cars didn’t have the best fit n finish in the first place anyone else have pics of hood gaps door to body gaps or door to rocker fitment?

    I suspect somethings up with the hinges .. specifically the drivers side.. but that only fixes half the problem can’t budge the fenders inward! Truck doesn’t appear to have been wrecked looked as if it had all stock body panels wen I purchased it and it doesn’t look like the from bumper has ever...

    The first picture is of the hood up.. the second after it’s pushed down.. stArting to think something’s wrong with the hinge .. but that doesn’t explain the side to side gaps.. wich are pretty large.. fenders don’t seem to want to move inward .. oven if they do I’m afraid it will make the door...

    The large drivers side hood gap where it sits to high will go down almost to where it should wen forced hard by hand..

    Messed with it a bit this morning with no luck .. adjusted the hinges as much as I could .. maybe they need replaced? Or the spring is wore out? Seems like they have done play in them.. still does not explain the side to side gap..

    I’ll check that. I believe I’ve already adjusted it down but I’ve got a large side to side gap that gets worse on both sides the closer you get to the windshield..

    Have two giant hood gaps on either side any advise on how to get rid of them ?? Hood is off a different truck driver side door and fender are new. I believe it had the giant gaps with stock body panels.. seems as tho my fenders need to be moved inward But can’t get them to budge .. and even...

    brand new engine with my stock 100% rebuilt (by me) distributer (using master pro parts) upon start up completely failed again slowly started missing no spark no start for about the tenth time went and bought a new accel stuck it in runs starts perfect!
