    89 Suburban TBI issue

Turned out to be leaking fuel pressure regulator, bad distributor ign module and bad plug. The plug was causing most of the issue. I always forget to check the easy stuff.

    89 Suburban TBI issue

I'm having trouble running down the cause of my TBI issue. 89 suburban TBI 350. New distributor with new guts (not rebuilt) new coil, new CTS, new fuel filter. Runs rough when cold and for appx 10-15 minutes after warm and then smooths out and runs perfect. Has a rare stumble while running down...

Most Wanted List from Salvage Yards

If any of you guys see a barn door burb in the yard, can you pull the door side contactor on the passenger side if it's the two pin version. The PO apparently put a replacement door on with the four pin. Also if you need a four pin contactor let me know. This is door side only. I have the...

    Harbor Freight Tool/Product Review

Every time I use my very well made and useful harbor freight tools I laugh to myself that some slave laborer made it. 4 billion people and no government overthrow? Must not be that bad a place. American workers can't produce and unions are killing America.

    88-91 Suburban welcome here? Differences?

44 in IROK on stock lift for ultimate burb, also a bunch of dudes in speedos, if you get the front bench you can fit 9 total dudes in speedos. Get the deep tint factory rear windows and speedos become optional.

    Harbor Freight Tool/Product Review

I have the three micrometer set, dial indicator, 6 in caliper and a ton of metric hand tools. My dial indicator ,calipers, and mics are run across a cal bench at work and they pass as tight as starret every year. I'm an aircraft mechanic and they aren't doing a half assed cal check. Don't be...

    Third row bench question...

Ahh, I didn't know they were bolted down. It's crazy Chevy will interchange so much but the floor brackets for basically the same seat. That seatbelt idea is a good one, I'm going to look around the yards for a few. Thanks for that.

    Third row bench question...

I have times when I would need the extra cargo space and it would be much easier to just flip and tumble the seat without removing it from the vehicle. I don't want to drive around with the seat just moved forward and not held down securely. I have a 4 year old in the middle row...

Opened 'er up and this is what I found

Off topic but my HF dial indicator is run across a cal bench check every year at work (aviation mech) and it checks as accurate as the starretts. Same with he micrometers. The torque wrenches I bought were awful. The calibration tech said it was the worst he has ever seen. We are talking 10+ ft...
