    Now far as flat towing with the driveshaft connected I've always heard you can fry the trans (least with an auto) because the pump wouldn't be spinning and it won't get any cooling. Now with a 4wd throwing the tcase in neutral makes this not a concern.

    I kinda go back and forth on the fender with the looks. I've read that they reduce under hood temps a bit and help keep the nose down at high speeds by reducing under hood pressures. Those are the main reasons I've been considering them.

    Too bad, always sucks to see good cars ruined with ****. She may, I was mostly thinking of building up a moddest old car as a daily driver for her. Go with a basic ls swap and make it reliable and tame. I'd much rather that than something new. Now of course this is all way off.

    Working on it, lol Thanks I'll be keeping the wheels for at least a while, we'll see if I like how they fit in as it comes together. 81 still counts, I prefer the early front but it's still a bird! The Poncho motor is a must for me, just part of the package
