Gasoline in vapor canister
My truck experienced a similar problem a couple of days ago. When I've switched tanks its always died after a few minutes. I thought the gauge must be faulty and filled up the 2nd tank. Drove about a mile and truck died at a stop light at idle, and I switched back to the "good" tank. Got it...- USNTex

Hello, new owner and member. 1978 C10 Scottsdale. It was my wife’s uncle’s who passed and I couldn’t let it leave the family. Looking forward to fun and frustration. VIN info shows 350 V8, 1/2 ton w/HD susp, made in Flint. Absolutely stoked. Thanks for the add.- USNTex
