Vacuum line
Vacuum Another vacuum hose question...one coming up through the firewall was taped with a bunch of wires.... the hose was already disconnected...also there was one that was connected to the rear end that was plugged off with a bolt... Any ideas on that as well?- Shalpass

Rear end identification?
Another question...while under there...I saw a vaccum hose in the rear end but it was plugged off with a bolt .... I know that's night right...should it be going somewhere or open ended- Shalpass

This wire was was all taped up with a vacuum hose that goes thru the firewall...plug wasn't plugged in and neither was hose...what is it and is it needed?- Shalpass

Rear end identification?
You can count the Teeth in the pic and times it by two....I'm guessing I was looking at wrong gear- Shalpass

well I counted the teeth may be off one or two but I got 46 and 20 that's 2.3 rear I may be off a tooth or three could be 44 and 18 or something close to that....any guesses.......painting the cover while it's off- Shalpass

Rear end identification?
Gonna pull the. rear differential cover today flush and fill up....I have gasket maker, brake clean, gear oil 80w-90....can I spray brake clean on gear and in case with cover off...won't hurt anything I'm assuming....while I have cover off gonna see what rear end it is along with cleaning cover...- Shalpass
