    It is rich at idle for sure, Rick. I can smell it. It accelerates with a bit of black smoke on full throttle (accel pump). It cruises at 3 MPG, which means rich to me. So... pretty much everywhere.

    I put an AVS2 on a Chevy "Base 350" 330 HP 9.0:1 CP crate engine with box-stock MSD 8365 distributor. It runs fine, but it runs ridiculously rich, even after it warms up. Can anybody give me an idea of jets and rods to try? Any ideas would be welcome.

    I searched for "Parking Brake Lever won't stay down" and didn't get much. This is a brand new foot lever assembly and it goes down and acts like it will stay down and "ON" but then......... POP! Up it comes. This is pretty much what the original one did, but worse. Any ideas?

    chevy 350/290 crate engine

    My 330 HP "Base 350" Chevy crate motor was terrible with an AVS2 carb and MSD distributor until I switched the vacuum advance from "ported" vacuum to manifold vacuum (driver's side port). BIG difference.
