It is mainly used to haul trash to the dump and little things like that, so I often let it sit for long periods of time.     Thanks for all the input guys. The problem did in fact turn out to be the clutch safety switch. Somehow the little plastic piece that affects how far the clutch pushes in on the switch had moved. So when I pushed the clutch pedal, the switch was not actually being engaged. All has been fixed...
