Hey Guys, I bought the Suburban from a guy that used it as a wrecker. He told me he had the transmission, a 700R, set up for the extra weight of pulling a 12,000 trailer and a vehicle on it, easily handling more than 15,000 pounds. A few months ago, I found and bought an '88 Suburban on Craigslist for $1800. The ad said it had a Jasper 350 installed about a year prior and he had the transmission set up for towing since he used it as his tow truck for his job. Suburban guys: rear cargo area bed mat ideas?
I'll be redoing my carpet in my 88 soon, and will only take it to the third row. I'm thinking about using rubber stall mat behind the third row. It's sold at tractor supply and is the same stuff you see in gyms. You can cut it to shape, and even use the off cuts to make a lip around the edge... -

I'm looking on Summit and really like the CoverKing Saddle Blanket seat covers. Does anybody have these the could post of pic of? I'm wanting to put these in my 88 Suburban.
