Write up: Gas Tank Relocation
Unsafe or not that's where mine is going! I doubt it's that unsafe. Lots of cars have had them there. All the burbs with 31 gallon tanks do. I'm gonna reinforce mine with a piece of C channel in between the frame rails right behind the bumper so hopefully if I ever get rear ended it's like... -

When shutting truck off...
Thanks for the responses guys! I'm gonna go with the idle being too high probably. Just got a new carb a not ago and haven't monkeyed with the adjustments on it yet. I know I know I'm being lazy! rich weyand. I don't remember where my base timing is set to, I do know vac advance is ported...- John81287

When shutting truck off...
When shutting the truck off the engine doesn't shut right off 95% of the time, it will turn over 2 or 3 more times weakly. And then finally shut down. The distributor is new. Not sure what else it might be. Any ideas HotRodPC bucket Old77- John81287
